The North End Eruv - Now Expanded to Include the Silver Cloud Inn

An Eruv is a ritual enclosure that communities build in their neighborhoods to permit Jewish residents or visitors to carry certain objects (food, keys, strollers, gifts) outside their own homes on Shabbat and Yom Kippur.  The North end Eruv was established in 2009. Since then, it has been expanded to bring more families inside its boundaries.

The eruv is checked weekly by a dedicated team of checkers whom include: Meir Zwanziger,  Rabbi Avi Rosenfeld,  Jonathan Greene, Saifo Marasow, Ben Spear, Dovid Kintzer, Yitzi Heisler, Andy Kaplan, Rabbi Avi Herbstman with Dr. Yussi Greenberg at the forefront and in consultation with Rabbi Kletinik and Rabbi Tzubeli.

Mikveh Yisrael Mei Menachem

The community mikvah (ritual bath), located at CSTL (6250 43rd Ave NE), established in 2003 is available for use daily by the Jewish community. This facility hosts both a women's and men's mikvah, employs a filtering pool heating system and is the only such facility in the North end of Seattle.  The women's mikveh has upgraded its decor and attendant training to give the user a gentle, private and spiritual experience.

Mikvah Yisroel Mei Menachem supports the Jewish community, brides, women and men of all backgrounds. The mivkah is attended to by committed women who are invested in the beautiful traditions of Family Purity.
